Exercise Physiology 9th Edition

Updated: Jan 22

It is an honor and a privilege to be invited to participate in updating the iconic textbook Exercise Physiology: Nutrition, Energy and Human Performance. I wish to thank Frank Katch for this very kind invitation. It has been a great learning process for us, too! When I was a student (exercise medicine as a major), we studied the 4th edition. We are all standing on the shoulders of giants.

Setting the standard for more than 30 years, Exercise Physiology has helped more than 350,000 students build a solid foundation in the scientific principles underlying modern exercise physiology. The Ninth Edition will be updated with the latest research in the field to give you easy to understand, up to date coverage of how nutrition, energy transfer, and exercise training affect human performance and health.

At MBM Research Group, we aim to ensure that teachers, instructors, clinicians, opinion leaders and policy makers stay informed on the latest innovations that will make the biggest impact on human health and disease.

Best regards,
